AUKE COMMUNIY - WARD

Prior to the forthcoming 2019 general elections, the federal House of Representative Member representing Apa-Agatu federal constituency of Benue state Joined his governor, Mr. Samuel Ortom, on the 31st day of December of December to flag off the PDP Campaign of blindness in the state.

Analysis over time was that the leadership of Engr. EntonuOchepo and Solomon Agidani  has set the Apa-Agatu political structure on another political peregrination.

It was obvious that Apa-Agatu has endured an unwelcomed political statue within the state over the years.

The allegations of marginalisation, insincerity, mediocracy and negligence proved a potent weapon of mass destruction if Entonu should continue.

It is so disheartening that the Pride of Idoma Speaking people of Benue State  (the Apa-Agatu Constituency) is left to decay under the watch of Governor Samuel Ortom, Senator David Mark and Engr. Entonu Ochepo

Entonu and Oche Danjuma can not influence any of the new generational bank to come and invest in the local government headquater

Our team of journalist who went on sightseeing in Apa local government area of Benue state met the sorry state of the local government whose headquarters is located in Ugbokpo with a local government chairman not willing to entertain media chart.

The entrance to the local Government from Auke ward, a community located   1:35 minute drive from Adoka,  through Awowo in Kogi State was not too easy as the road to the ward was not too motorable.

Entering the community, we were greeted by the red dusty sand of Auke ward whose voters estimate is over  Five thousand.

The people of the community were promised transformer, good water and motorable roads by the campaign team of Hon. Entonu Ochepo in his house of Reps campaign first campaign and second campaign of 2015.

But up till date, the community stands as shadow of itself with no sign of Hon. Entonu's constituency projects presence nor Dr. Samuel Ortom's community road or water projects sighted.

Ekla, a clan situated in Auke ward has been in dire need of drinking water supply  as most young people walk 4 meters away from the clan to get a dirty stream water for 
themselves.        
 Aside from good motorable road, school, healthcare and electricity, one major societal need is water.

But the Hon. member once promised to donate something like this and up till now, nothing is done.

We also caught site of non functional transformer which the community claimed to be one of the Entonu's community projects which up-till date has never been powered on.

No single water projects in the community and the only hand-pump borehole was donated to a missionary school by UNESCO.

Our team also moved down to Ikampo olejinagwu clan, an Agrarian community under Edikwu ward with about town thousand voters where also denied access to: good drinking water, electricity and good Primary school.

Despite the previous promise of the two time Honourable member of the Federal House of Representatives.

Getting  to Angwa a community along the express way to Agatu Oweto federal high way too.

The transformer donated by the Honourable member has ceased working since four years and the community claimed to have contacted him to do something concerning it and up till this day, no response  and the public primary school in the community of over two hundred and fifty voters is left for lizards and weeds.

While Igah-okpaya his community is wearing a good look of one primary healthcare courtesy of the Honourable member.

But his media aids took to his Facebook page to write the following which is far from what we saw on ground and so shameful for a two term house of Reps member.

Other projects that are ready importantly are:

(1) FX Winas Polytechnic Olojo three(3) Lecture rooms completed to support advance education in our constituency considering the proximity to our people and it's less cost of education, we felt its necessary to improve the infrastructural face.

(2) Health is wealth so we are also not leaving the segment

(a) Primary Health Care IgaOkpaya is also to my credit and it's functional

(b) Edikwu Primary Health Care EdikwuIcho constructed and in used

(c) Aila Primary Health Care On-going construction

(d) Auke Primary Health Care On-going construction

(e) Usha three (3) classrooms block under construction

(f) Odugbeho Construction of three(3) classrooms Primary school block On-going.

Let's support and consolidate Hon AdemuEntonu 2019 to complete the good work he has started and dare in another direction for the interest of our constituency.

We are stronger together in 2019.

All these mentioned has no doubt makes a mockery stock of Sen. David Mark and his Honourable member and despite these fact

The  man Hon.  Entonu still bent at donating hundred thousand Naira to any ward visited during his electioneering campaign and promising to restore all he never did in the past if voted a third time.

This alone has shown that, the law Maker and local government chairman  have nothing to offer to Apa people rather than disappointment after being elected into power if not, why didn't they draw they draw the attention of the state and federal government to the aforementioned.

Why should they celebrate men who are not Honourable in their constituency.

What is Hon. Ademu Entonu   member of the federal House of Representatives Representing Apa-Agatu  using his constituency allowance for when some part of Apa is in dire need of water, electricity  and quality education.

What has been the effort of Hon. Danjuma Solomon Oche  the executive chairman of Apa LGA towards renovating the schools shown and many others.

With the likes of; Senator David Mark, Hon. Solomon Danjuma Oche, Dr. Samuel Ortom these schools would have gotten a human face long before now.

These people from their act have variously described themselves as having meretricious characters which gives odious impression.

They are only committed to snatching the people's mandate for personal aggrandizement.

If not, how can such educational structure be reduced to a monumental edifice, and constituency left to decay in the face of modern development.

Effort to get the local good chairman, Mr. Danjuma Solomon to get his reaction to some claim proved abortive and Hon. Entonu Ochepo's four phone lines were turned off and effort to get him talk to us in the National Assembly was not successful as his secretary one miss. Beatrice claimed her principal is indisposed.

The sight we behold tells of total neglect. But  saddly to note here that, the teachers of these primary schools and others in the local and state government are still owe salaries for months despite this wickedness.
